Mondays

Wonders Never Cease - Kids are naturally born curious. The world is their classroom. Yet, in many educational environments the goal is for children to sit down and be quiet. Not at Fiction, Facts, & Fun!  Mondays will be magical as children explore art, stem activities, cooking, and science  through  movement, stem exploration, creating, and experimenting. Potions will fizz, bubbles will pop, and masterpieces will be created. A session children will never forget. Keep those curious minds alive and come join us at Wonders Never Cease! 

 

Three year olds through School Age-Activities will be fun for all!

Mondays, 12:30-2:00-August 29  through May 15 (This session is throughout the school year.)

Cost: $25 per 90 minute class OR $30 for lunch class
Additional $5.00 for Brownbag and Lunch Movie Time (12:00-12:30) $30 per 120 minute class (Bring Lunch)

Mad Mondays Learning Series:

This is the House that Jack Built - It's all About Stem - There is a huge push for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education. What a better way to learn these concepts than to create and test them. Kids will have so much fun as they build and create projects. But wait, that's not all.  Kids will be charting, graphing, measuring, and analyzing information. I think that's called math.....but we won't tell. Sound fun? Well, it will be! Come on; let's do STEM together! 

Preschool through Fourth Grade
Mondays, 3:45-5:15-March 20 through April 24 (6 classes)
Cost: $25 per class

Batman  & Wonder Woman and other Superhero Science  It's true every hero has a story. But what about the science behind their super powers?  Come and find out why Superman can fly and create a device to measure Wonder Woman's air speed.  Learn about Aquaman's properties of water.  Oh don't forget the zoom balls! Create your own Superhero name and come join the fun!

Preschool through Fourth Grade
Mondays, 3:45-5:15-May 1, 8, & 15 (3 classes)
Cost: $27 per class

 

Tuesdays

Letter Monsters & Math Monkeys - Kids will be delighted as different letter and math characters are introduced and reinforced weekly.  Research tells us during the first five years of life, the amount of information that is learned, and the potential for learning, far exceeds any other time in a child's educational history.  Letter Monsters & Math Monkeys will develop and enhance the foundational skills for reading and math. Watch out for the bats and monkeys....they will be here soon!

Three and Four year olds
 Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30-August 30 through May 16 (This session is throughout the school year.)
Cost: $30 per class

The Planet of "Read"ville - Kids will discover Vowel Village, Rhyming Road, Bossy R Boulevard, Word City, and so much more!   Weekly visits will be made to the King and Queen of "Read"ville.  Reading games, art, cooking, and science will all be happening on our exclusive planet. Start your kids off with a firm reading foundation plus have a whole lot of fun!

Preschool through Kindergarten

Read Strong! - Nothing is more important to a child's school success than a strong literacy foundation. Weekly lessons will center around engaging reading and writing activities. Phonics, writing, comprehension strategies, and so much more will be a part of the weekly curriculum. Kids will benefit greatly from this session...I promise!

Math Matters - Kids will be engaged as they explore different math concepts weekly. Unfortunately, common core has made us ALL a bit math apprehensive. Different strategies will be taught to help kids become more math confident. Children will move up the math ladder as they complete math challenges weekly.  This session will be beneficial for all children who need reinforcement OR want to work ahead. Math does matter....let's make it happen!

The $100 Challenge-Are you ready for the challenge? - Fiction, Facts, & Fun is taking the business class to a whole new level. You will be given  a budget and seed money to start your business. You must create your own product ideas and market and sell your product or service . The money will be given to the I Pour Life 10x10 Program to help women begin their own businesses.    We will be following their progress  and business ideas  throughout  the class.

First through Fifth Grade
Thursdays, 4:00-5:30-March 9 through April 20 (No class on March 16) (6 classes)

The "Art" of Problem Solving - There are many ways to lead a horse to water. Art studies are proven to increase critical and analytical thinkers.  Children will be exposed to art history, art technique, and experiment with the five fundamental  elements of art.   A great session to end the school year!  A proven hit for Fiction, Facts, & Fun!

First through Fifth Grade
